In addition to full productions, Prospect produces the IGNITE Series of concerts at the TimesCenter, and the company's annual Musical Theater Lab, which assembles teams of writers who create short original musicals in response to a theme. To engage students, Prospect operates their Musical Theater Summer Intensive for middle and high school students to gain valuable experience and advice from professional artists.
Up next for Prospect Theater Company is a workshop staging of Scheherazade, a new musical by Marisa Michelson and Jason Grote, which performs through July 17th. The 2016 Musical Theater Lab production, Archetype, will debut July 27th.
