Davis Vision Awarded Contract For GM And Chrysler UAW Retiree Vision Benefits
UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust partners with Davis Vision to provide vision coverage for 590,000 eligible UAW GM and Chrysler retirees & dependents
SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Davis Vision today announced the signing of a major new client, the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust (the "Trust"). The Trust is the largest non-governmental purchaser of retiree health care benefits in the United States and provides health care benefits to more than 755,000 UAW retirees and dependents from General Motors, Ford and Chrysler.
The addition of vision benefits, effective January 1, 2015, will provide vision coverage including eye exams and eyewear for over 590,000 Trust-eligible UAW GM and Chrysler retirees and dependents.
