DB&A Hires Lang as Director of Analysis

DALLAS, Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DeWolff, Boberg & Associates (DB&A), a global management consulting firm based in Dallas, Texas, is pleased to welcome Brian Lang to its Analysis management team. "We are excited to have Brian join our firm," said DB&A V.P. of Finance, Morgan Buffington. "He brings a great combination of energy, analytical ability and global experience to DB&A."

Lang has over 12 years of experience in financial services, carbon finance, renewable energy and energy efficiency, organizational consulting and Latin American foreign trade economics.  His experience spans geographic locations in the U.S., Africa, Latin America and the European Union.

Prior to joining DB&A, Lang was an Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he managed energy efficiency and renewable energy projects developing strategies, financial mechanisms and market assessments for government and commercial clients. Additionally, he worked for the U.S. Department of Energy. While there, he researched, analyzed and developed early stage energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Lang also conducted strategic and financial analysis of a technology commercialization fund. This included a variety of commercial use efficiency technologies, commercial and residential energy efficiency retrofit financing efforts and financing of first of a kind biofuels plants.

Lang was attracted to DB&A because of the size of the firm, project opportunities and expansion potential. "I would like to contribute my consulting experience, global background and senior management exposure to drive new projects and business in my role as Director of Analysis," stated Lang.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in The Netherlands and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business from The George Washington University.

In his spare time, Lang enjoys running, squash and spending time with his kids.
