In this capacity, Dr. Turner performs cancer screenings and assists patients with pre-invasive disorders of the cervix and vulva and various cancer such as ovarian, vaginal, endometrial, cervical and more.
Honored as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Turner is an esteemed member of the American Medical Association, Society of Gynecologic Oncology and the Iowa Medical Society. Additionally, she is the Vice President of the League of Woman Voters.
The recipient of the 2015 Gertrude Rush award, Dr. Turner was recognized as a VIP Woman of The Year by the National Association of Professional Women for her successes; and enjoys reading, dance, walking and movies in her spare time.
Dr. Turner received her Medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed her undergraduate degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Iowa State University. She then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Drake University.
