Deborah J. Mignucci Named Publisher of Fit Pregnancy and Associate Publisher of SHAPE
NEW YORK, May 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- David J. Pecker, Chairman, President and CEO of American Media, Inc. (AMI), today announced the appointment of Deborah J. Mignucci as Publisher of Fit Pregnancy, AMI's bi-monthly magazine that is the first and most trusted source of information for today's active pregnant woman and new mother, and as Associate Publisher of SHAPE, AMI's monthly magazine that is the "how to look and feel amazing" resource of active, confident women.
Mignucci rejoins AMI from Meredith Corporation which acquired Walt Disney Co's Disney FamilyFun Group in January of this year. At the FamilyFun Group she was Vice President, Sales, Group Publisher, U.S. Magazine Group. Mignucci had previously worked at AMI for five years as Vice President, Group Publisher where she was responsible for Fit Pregnancy and oversaw the successful launch of FitPregnancy.com and Mom & Baby magazine.
Mignucci will report to Kristen Elliott, Vice President, Group Publisher of the AMI Women's Active Lifestyle Group, which includes the SHAPE, Fit Pregnancy and Natural Health brands. Her appointment is effective immediately. "Deb and I have worked well together in the past and I look forward to collaborating with her again.
