MONROE, Ohio, Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Deceuninck North America, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality systems for windows, doors, and outdoor living, has expanded the fastener options for decking contractors with its partnership with EBTY, a builder of custom designed houses and decks. Through EBTY, Deceuninck North America is offering the Clubhouse Hidden Fastener Biscuit for Deceuninck's Clubhouse PVC Decking.
With two packaging options and a longer screw for enhanced installation, the biscuit acts like a tongue, simultaneously spacing the deck boards and holding them down. The biscuit will not rust, shrink, crack or soften in temperatures of more than 200 degrees Fahrenheit. The product also helps ensure that the boards will be more evenly spaced, which helps with drainage. Given the product's life span of 100 years, the biscuit can save the homeowner money on deck repair.
"At Deceuninck North America, we are pleased to be working with EBTY, whose Clubhouse Hidden Fastener Biscuit provides an innovative solution for builders and contractors," said Filip Geeraert, president and CEO of Deceuninck North America. "By using the Clubhouse Hidden Fastener Biscuit, homeowners can enjoy an even more durable and long-lasting deck, and contractors can streamline the installation process. The different packaging options are designed to accommodate the variety of needs and challenges faced by a contractor, making the Clubhouse Hidden Fastener Biscuit a preferred solution."
Clubhouse Decking is 100-percent PVC and contains no wood or wood fillers. It is formulated to be up to 25-percent lighter than most wood and composites while offering superior strength and a solid underfoot feel with Deceuninck's Korelite™ technology. Korelite also helps to keep moisture out and reduces the opportunity for degradation from mold, mildew, freezing and thawing. Clubhouse Decking is also 100-percent recyclable and colors and wood grains do not require painting or staining. Clubhouse Decking features a limited lifetime warranty with 25-year fade and stain protection backed by Deceuninck.
