With two packaging options and a longer screw for enhanced installation, the biscuit acts like a tongue, simultaneously spacing the deck boards and holding them down.  The biscuit will not rust, shrink, crack or soften in temperatures of more than 200 degrees Fahrenheit.  The product also helps ensure that the boards will be more evenly spaced, which helps with drainage.  Given the product's life span of 100 years, the biscuit can save the homeowner money on deck repair.
