Deepwater Operations Conference & Exhibition Seeing Strong Operator Support
HOUSTON, May 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Deepwater Operations Conference & Exhibition will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Galveston, TX at the Moody Gardens Hotel and Convention Center November 6 – 8, 2012. A lot has changed in the last ten years. The first event in 2003 had just 23 exhibitors and four sponsors. The 2012 event will attract over 800 attendees and host over 60 exhibitors. Today, with the event more than six months away, we are already seeing strong support from deepwater operators in the Gulf of Mexico. Shell is the 2012 host of Deepwater Operations, as well as the Coffee Break Sponsor. In addition to Shell's support, other operators supporting Deepwater Operations with sponsorships are Chevron, Gold Sponsor, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Silver Sponsor, and Murphy Exploration & Production Co., Networking Breakfast Sponsor.
"We are excited by the number of operating companies showing their support of Deepwater Operations, which indicates their confidence in the conference's presentation and program. The Advisory Board should finish the conference program soon and it will have nearly 100% operator presentations as well," said Mark Peters, Vice-President/Group Publisher, Offshore magazine. "If you are in the deepwater production industry, you won't want to miss the only event specialized for deepwater maintenance and operations."
