The Defense Energy Summit convenes and converges the entire defense-energy ecosystem, focusing on the needs and solutions of energy providers, project finance sources, early and growth stage companies, defense contractors, military installations and purchasing agents.
We are pleased to announce that leaders from the Department of Defense and the Executive Office of the President have already confirmed their participation as keynote speakers at the event:

"Through the Defense Energy Summit and the convened national defense leadership, we are laying the foundation for a National Defense Energy Center of Excellence," says Summit Co-Chair Joseph Kopser, Retired Army Lieutenant Colonel.
The Defense Energy Summit (DES) is currently accepting submissions into the 4th annual Defense Energy Challenge (DETC), matching top defense-targeted energy solutions with military testing and procurement opportunities. DETC is run in collaboration from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Army National Guard and installation and operational programs worldwide. Organizations with defense-related energy solutions are encouraged to submit an application by August 8th, 2013.
