SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Defense Health Board will hold its next meeting on February 21, 2012, at the Marriott Rivercenter, 101 Bowie Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205.  In accordance with Federal Advisory Committee Act provisions, sessions of the Board meeting are open to the public, as follows:

• Morning: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Afternoon: 1:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Members of the media may attend these sessions; those wishing to attend should advise Ms. Coates of their intention to be present and arrive 20 minutes prior to each session attended in order to sign in with the meeting organizers.

Defense Health Board is a Federal Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Defense.  It provides independent advice/recommendations on matters relating to operational programs, health policy development, health research programs, and requirements for the treatment and prevention of disease and injury, promotion of health and the delivery of health care to DoD beneficiaries.
