/PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Defense Health Board will meet June 25th in the Community Activities Center (Building 1529), Fort Detrick, Maryland. Briefings and discussions will take place in the afternoon from 1:00 to 5:15 p.m., with one intermission. These briefings will be open to the public in accordance with Federal Advisory Committee Act provisions. Attendees should register via the Board's website in advance of the meeting (www.health.mil/dhb).
FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 8, 2012 The Board will receive briefings, discuss and vote on three potential recommended changes to the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Guidelines and one proposed recommendation on Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Priorities for Battlefield Trauma Care from the Trauma and Injury Subcommittee. Additionally, the Board will receive information briefs from the National Trauma Institute and U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research.
Any member of the public may submit written comments to the Defense Health Board. Statements should be addressed to the Board's Director and sent so that they are received at least 10 business days (June 11th) prior to the meeting.
