HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Suzanne DeLaurentiis, Producer and President of Suzanne DeLaurentiis Productions, is honored to be returning to the Oregon National Guard Career and Benefits Fair on March 10th. A previous recipient of The Oregon National Guard Commendation Medal, Suzanne is scheduled to speak between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the event, which will take place at the Oregon State Fairgrounds.

The Veteran's Career and Benefits Fair brings employers, agencies and advocacy groups together to provide service members, veterans and their families with full spectrum employment, health care, and education benefits. In particular, this event is being held to benefit members of the 1249th Engineer Company from the Oregon National Guard who recently returned from overseas. 

Suzanne recognizes the struggles that a lot of our returning heroes face, and is proud to be part of this event.  "It has always been my passion to help these brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep our country free.  It's important that we take care of them when they come home."

Suzanne, who received the Oregon Commendation Medal in 2010, knows that now more than ever service members need our help. "I encourage employers to hire past or present service men and women because they are more than qualified in many different areas and in my experience have made excellent employees."
