DETROIT, Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Company 3, a member of the Deluxe Creative Services Group, joins sister companies, Beast and Method, with the opening of an office in Detroit, Michigan. Company 3 provides high-end post production services, including color correction, custom workflows and on location services to feature film, commercial, music video and television clients.
Detroit is the sixth location, along with Los Angeles, New York, London, Atlanta and Chicago where CO3 has established an office. The opening of the Detroit office advances the strategy of Company 3 to provide clients with a seamless and integrated pipeline across post production services and locations.
"Detroit has a unique creative vibe," says Stefan Sonnenfeld, President of Deluxe Creative Services Group and founder of Company 3. "I have really been inspired by the work coming from Beast and Method in the Motor City and am excited to add our world class color services on site to help our clients maximize creativity and bring their ideas to life in the best light."
"In addition to the virtual services currently offered, I am extremely excited to have a Company 3 colorist staffed locally," says Laura Hochthanner, Managing Director of Beast, Company 3 and Method Detroit. "The creativity and talent that Company 3 continues to provide to our clients is the perfect addition to Beast and Method Detroit."
Brandon Chavez has assembled an extraordinary array of credits in commercials, music videos and documentary films. A well-rounded artist, Brandon enjoys lending his eye to the process of filmmaking and image beautification. Before getting into color correction he majored in photography at Cal State Northridge and worked in television news and production. Having started his color career under the mentorship of Company 3 Colorist Beau Leon, Brandon's work includes music videos for iconic artists including Lady Gaga, Bon Iver and Frank Ocean. His previous experience has allowed him to hit the ground running, Brandon has recently collaborated with creative teams on projects for Dodge, Silverado, and First Citizens Bank.
"Being based in Detroit is just such a fantastic opportunity for me," says Chavez. "One of the best parts of my job is getting to know, and then reflecting, the moods and attitudes of our different clients. Geography plays a large role in that, and I see the unique landscapes of Detroit – both visual and tonal – as offering a whole new direction in the exploration of color."
CO3 joins Beast and Method at their facilities at 209 West 6th Street in Royal Oak.
