Deluxe Toronto Salutes Creative Emmy Award Winners

TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Deluxe Toronto Ltd., a division of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc., the leading provider of a broad range of services and technologies to the worldwide entertainment industry, salutes members of the Toronto Post Production community who were awarded Creative Emmy Awards this past weekend in Los Angeles, California.  On Saturday, September 15, 2012, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awarded the 2011-2012 Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards for programs and individual achievements at the 64^th Emmy Awards presentation at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Outstanding Single Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries or a Movie was awarded to Toronto based Editor Don Cassidy, for his work on the highly acclaimed mini-series "The Hatfields and McCoys."

Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Miniseries or a Movie was awarded to Toronto based Sound Re-Recording Mixers Chris Cooke and Brad Zoern for their work on the "The Hatfields and McCoys."

"The Hatfields and McCoys" recently aired on the History Channel in the United States and achieved the highest ratings ever for a drama broadcast on cable television in the US.  All three nights of the broadcast ranked as the top three entertainment television telecasts of all time in AD supported cable TV history, among total viewers, over 62 million viewers tuned in over the presentation.  The six hour mini-series stars Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton.  The Emmy Awards are to be held in Los Angeles this Sunday, September 23rd and "The Hatfields and McCoys" is nominated for 16 Emmy Awards.
