Shopper Insights, Allowance Billing, and Price Optimization enhancements to support richer trading partner collaboration and shopper-centric planning for DemandTec customers

(Nasdaq: DMAN), a global leading provider of predictive merchandising, marketing, trade, and shopper analytics solutions for the retail value chain, today announced that the latest release of its software-as-a-service suite has been deployed and is in use by existing customers. This latest software update delivers several marquee enhancements enabling retailers and consumer products companies to take action on urgent pricing decisions more quickly, take a more localized approach to promotional display space decisions, and reap the benefits of more intuitive shopper insights dashboards.
The latest additions to DemandTec's suite of solutions and software services include:
- Shopper Insight-on-DemandTec – Significant expansion of the library of shopper insights dashboards for both retailers and consumer products manufacturers that includes an intuitive menu organized by function that associates dashboards to key business questions. This release continues to add to the shopper insights embedded directly at the point of decision within the workflow of existing software services.
- Promotion Planning & Management – Display Planning is a major new module enabling more precise and localized planning of promotional display space to support shopper-centric promotion strategies. The Promotion Planning & Management software service is a component of the DemandTec End-to-End Promotion Management™ solution, providing a broader set of services spanning collaborative promotion planning and deal management to in-store execution and post event analysis.
- Trade Planning & Optimization – Post Event Analysis incorporates additional metrics and insights to support better decision making and increased brand loyalty.
- Everyday Price Optimization – Express Pricing capabilities enable retail analysts to more quickly take action on targeted pricing actions.
