SPARKLING SKIES
The annual downtown New Year's Eve Fireworks, which take place at both the family-friendly hour of 9pm and the traditional midnight hour, are spectacular displays in the heart of downtown Denver. The best views are along the 16th Street Mall, an outdoor pedestrian promenade that will feature magicians, mascots, balloon artists, stilt walkers, comedians and more alongside its numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and shops for the celebration.

FAMILY FUN
Noon Year's Eve at Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus
WHEN: December 31 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
WHERE: Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, 2121 Children's Museum Dr.
The Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus will provide the excitement, thrills and festive fun of New York's Times Square on New Year's Eve - all before bedtime. There will be glittery ball drops, rainbows of confetti and huge sheets of bubble wrap (the museum's version of fireworks) for kids to stomp on. After the ball drops, the celebration keeps going with sparkling art projects and several activities on the plaza. 

Zoo Year's Eve: Kids-Only Bunk with the Beasts
WHEN: December 31, 2015January 1, 2016 (5 p.m.10 a.m.)
WHERE: Denver Zoo, 2300 Steele St.

Children ages six through fourteen are invited to the Denver Zoo for an exciting New Year's Eve adventure. During a sleepover in the onsite Gates Education Center, kids will explore the Zoo Lights, learn about animals and celebrate the New Year with pizza, an evening snack and breakfast the next morning. This is also a perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy a night out downtown while their kids are in a safe and fun environment. Cost is $65 for Denver Zoo members, $75 for non-members.

ADULTS NIGHT OUT
A Night in Vienna
WHEN: December 31 (6:30 p.m.)
WHERE: Boettcher Concert Hall in the Denver Performing Arts Complex, 1400 Curtis St.

Start the New Year's celebration in style with the Colorado Symphony's annual presentation of A Night in Vienna, a rousing selection of polkas, waltzes, and marches. The festive performance is the perfect sendoff to 2015 - and the early start time ensures that audience members won't miss the thrill of the other evening festivities, including the New Year's Eve Fireworks.

Baur's New Year's Eve Dinner & Masquerade

New Year's Eve Extravaganza

WHERE: Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square, 1226 15th St.
Comedy Works Downtown will ring in the New Year with laughter. Comedian Matt Iseman will start the night with the 6 p.m. all ages show; the evening continues with another show at 8 p.m. and a final New Year's Eve Extravaganza at 10 p.m., which includes a champagne toast and party favors. New Year's Eve at Howl at the Moon Denver

Howl at the Moon Denver will offer two packages for its New Year's Eve celebrations, with options for a premium open bar and catered buffet, along with a champagne toast and party favors. Tickets are available online and start at $50 per person.

14th Annual White Rose Gala
WHEN: December 31 (Starting at 9 p.m.)
WHERE: Ellie Caulkins Opera House, 1400 Curtis St.
Dress to the nines and revisit the 1920s during this annual New Year's Eve celebration. Featuring flappers, ballroom dance exhibitions, a speakeasy area, live performances by Barron's Big Band and multiple DJs, the White Rose Gala is one of Denver's best New Year's Eve parties. Denver's Grandest New Year's Eve Party
WHEN: December 31 (8 p.m.1 a.m.)
WHERE: Grand Hyatt Denver, 1750 Welton St.
This downtown Denver New Year's Eve Party includes an open premium bar, admission to two areas of entertainment, a dinner buffet, a midnight champagne toast and more in the Grand Hyatt's newly redesigned ballrooms. The event will feature live entertainment by local bands Nacho Men and Wash Park, as well as late-night karaoke in the hotel's Pub17. Tickets start at $149 per person.
