Design News Announces Expanded Digi-Key Continuing Education Center for 2014 New for 2014: IEEE Certificates for Professional Development Hours
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Canon, the world's leading advanced design and manufacturing industry resource, along with Design News has partnered with IEEE to expand the Digi-Key Continuing Education Center program for 2014. The Continuing Education Center offers FREE education solutions to engineers to help them gain skills to formulate next-generation solutions.
"We realized the need to offer our attendees in the Continuing Education Center (CEC) the opportunity to earn credits after completing a few simple steps. Attendees will need to attend two tracks during a semester and attend four of the five courses per track. In addition, Design News is a community and we encourage our CEC attendees to fully participate in the courses by utilizing the chat function: ask questions, answer questions, etc. In addition, students can earn additional IEEE Professional Development Hours by attending more courses; there are a total of twenty-four new courses for 2014." - Steven Carlisle, Marketing Manager, Design News
