Designers From Around The World Come To One Workplace To Share Their Stories & Products
Over 40 artisans and manufacturers from a dozen countries will attend the first ever ONEder event to reshape the future of design and creativity in the workplace
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- One Workplace, one of the largest commercial office furniture dealerships in North America, today announced the first ever ONEder event which runs from September 23rd to October 2nd. The event will be held at the One Workplace headquarters, an award winning, 35,000 square foot showroom that was created to showcase the newest and best products in interior design in a hands-on, immersive environment. ONEder is a new interpretation of a timeless idea. Taking its cues from the German art school, Bauhaus, the ten-day event explores what design can do when different mediums, influential speakers, and designers gather under one roof. The goal is to re-imagine the power that creativity can hold in the workplace—all while sparking change, innovation, and discovery in the design industry.

In addition to letting participants explore and interact with new products and designs, ONEder will offer a collection of speakers on 9/23 and 9/30 featuring IDEO's David Kelley, Rob Forbes, founder of Design Within Reach, and Pixar animator and director, Andrew Gordon, among others. This world-class and diverse lineup further underscores ONEder's goal of building an environment founded on collaboration.
The hands-on, collaborative nature of ONEder isn't the only factor that sets it apart. A wide-ranging guest list that spans firms from a dozen countries while highlighting several San Francisco based artisans makes the participants as unique as the event itself. Over 40 furniture manufacturers will attend ONEder, including: Arper (Italy), Buzzispace (Belgium), Muuto (Denmark), Cascando (Holland), Offecct (Sweden), Orangebox (UK), Keilhauer (Canada), Steelcase (USA), Desalto (Italy), Pablo Designs (USA), and many more.
