PHILADELPHIA, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting tomorrow, families visiting New York's Bronx Zoo and Brooklyn Children's Museum, and San Francisco's Gilroy Gardens will no longer have to make do without a clean diaper, pacifier or sunscreen on a summer day. These teal-and-chocolate brown kiosks are the answer to a harried parent's prayers, offering salvation from the tears and tribulations that accompany those moments when only a "binky" will do.
"Nanny Caddy is the cure for parents who find themselves without the supplies they need when they are away from home with young children," said Patrick K. FitzGerald, Nanny Caddy's CEO as well as a veteran entrepreneur and Dad who previously co-founded RecycleBank, a recycling rewards company recently ranked #1 in the Wall Street Journal's list of Top Clean-Tech companies. "That one small purchase can make the difference between staying someplace and having fun and packing up and going home."
Since its launch in 2008 by an Arizona mother of two, Nanny Caddy kiosks have been sprouting up across the country. They are now in 10 states, in places like SeaWorld Orlando, Legoland, Chicago's Field Museum, the Houston Zoo and Philadelphia International Airport.
The Bronx Zoo and the Brooklyn Children's Museum are Nanny Caddy's first New York City installations, with Gilroy Gardens being Nanny Caddy's first in Northern California.
At locations nationwide, Nanny Caddys can be found near the entrance or near family restrooms with prices of items ranging from $2 to $10.
Nanny Caddy benefits not only parents in need but family friendly locations and baby product retailers.
"We offer our location partners a revenue share and an opportunity to keep their grateful customers onsite at their location longer," continued FitzGerald. "For baby product marketers, this is a great opportunity to get products in front of brand-loyal moms and dads when they need it most. We've received wonderful feedback to date and encourage parents to friend us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to tell us where they'd like to see us next."
