"Wine & Dine in Paradise" Event Reaches Record Pre-Event Sales

DESTIN, FL, March 12 /PRNewswire/ - Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, one of the most successful non-profit organizations in the Southeast, offers food and wine enthusiasts an experience and pairing like no other, with the group's largest fundraiser of the year, "Wine & Dine in Paradise." "Guests will dine with the 'Who's Who' of chefs and vintners from around the world," said Todd Vucovich, Executive Director, Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. "The 2009 event raised nearly $1 million for local charities and preparations are underway to accommodate a larger response in 2010.

The Foundation has named Bob Cabral, Executive Winemaker at the prestigious Russian River winery, Williams Selyem, as the event's 2010 Honorary Chairman. "Bob Cabral and Williams Selyem epitomize quality and a strong sense of community," adds Vucovich. "Joining Williams Selyem at the event is an A-list of other wineries such as Kosta-Browne, Duckhorn, Staglin, Pride Mountain and Jarvis, to name a few."

With only 20 tickets remaining, sales have outpaced past years based on the growing prestige and popularity of the event.
