COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Hill Financial Trends Fund, Inc. (NASDAQ: DHFT) announced today that the fund will pay a capital gain distribution as follows:

Short-Term Capital Gain:	$0.14058
Long-Term Capital Gain:	$0.60678
Total Distribution:	$0.74736

Declaration Date:	December 11, 2012
Record Date:	December 21, 2012
Payable Date:	December 28, 2012

No income dividend distribution will be made at this time.
