Dickey's Barbecue Pit Coming Soon to Sanford
Authentic Barbecue Heads to Sanford, North Carolina
SANFORD, N.C., Feb. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Gloria Perez and Ronald Bridges are growing the Dickey's brand in North Carolina. They have signed a franchise agreement with Dickey's Barbecue Pit for Sanford.
"Dickey's is going to be a great addition to the community of Sanford," said local franchise owner Gloria Perez. "Sanford is a small bedroom community and I know we are going to bring something new and exciting to the area."
Bridges and Perez also operate the Dickey's in Southern Pines. According to Perez the store will open around late March early April.
Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well-known for their hot pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the big yellow cups. The quick-serve barbecue chain has grown exponentially over the years.
