Dinesh Kumar Named Senior VP of Clinical Transformation at DaVita HealthCare Partners

DENVER, Aug. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DaVita HealthCare Partners (NYSE: DVA), one of the largest and most innovative health care communities, announced today that it has named Dinesh Kumar, M.D., senior vice president of clinical transformation. In this role, Dr. Kumar will leverage his passion for cost-effective, evidence-based care to drive efforts that take the proven care management model of HealthCare Partners across the country. He takes on this new challenge after having been part of the HealthCare Partners family for over 14 years.

Kumar's focus will be partnering with provider organizations to assist in the development of population health management capabilities. Kumar received his medical degree from the University of Madras (India) and completed his residency in internal medicine at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He went on to complete his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and completed a two-year California Healthcare Foundation Leadership fellowship at University of California – San Francisco.
