Discover Technologies Announces 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement Award for Microsoft Support Services
$100 million Single Source award continues company's Microsoft support services.
HERNDON, Va., June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Discover Technologies announced that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) awarded them the 5-year single source BPA to establish planning, control, management, monitoring, and notification mechanisms to include working with and reporting to the Government's IT Project Managers and Business Program Managers to ensure that FDA projects stay on track and important milestones are met.
In addition, Discover will provide complete operations and management support, accessibility and Section 508 support and remediation as well as technical, design and SharePoint Governance support. The FDA environment includes 788 site collections and over 22,000 user accounts. Discover Technologies will be responsible for making recommendations to improve SharePoint environment performance, management of projects and programs through the integration of project server and helping FDA staff become knowledgeable in critical SharePoint skills through knowledge transfer.
