Growing strategic communications firm welcomes new director
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pinkston Group, a strategic communications consultancy based in the D.C.-metro area, today announced that Darrell "D.J." Jordan, who most recently served as communications director for U.S. Sen. James Lankford, is joining the firm as its newest director.

In his previous roles as communications director for Lankford and the House Small Business Committee, and as press secretary for House Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman Robert Aderholt, Jordan secured national and local coverage on key policy issues. As an editor and producer for Fox and CNN, he helped develop coverage of breaking and featured news.
As director at the Pinkston Group, Jordan will lead a team of experienced strategists, designers and writers in creating and implementing strategic communications campaigns for companies, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups and individuals. Leveraging his extensive experience and network, he will also help expand the Pinkston Group's presence in new industries and sectors.
