Available at no cost to end users and based on Sweets' extensive database of manufacturers' BIM content, CAD files and specs, it enables users to search, select and annotate product data directly within the design application without interrupting the workflow, having to manually input data, or weighing down the project file with heavy BIM content.
For building product manufacturers, this innovative application offers products to key influencers of design and selection earlier in the design process, while simplifying product selection and reducing errors and omissions. It also provides valuable metrics on product usage. Early implementations of ProductTAG include Allegion, Construction Specialties, Excel Dryer and Taco, Inc.
