Expert organisation bundles activities overseas

Donald O. Nicholson has been appointed President and Chief Regional Officer (CRO) for the North American continent by the global expert organisation DEKRA. DEKRA intends to use this newly created position to bundle its strengths in the USA, Canada and Mexico in order better to tap the potential of this important market. Nicholson is taking on the overall regional responsibility for strategy, business development, sales, operations and personnel management for all DEKRA companies in North America. He will report directly to the DEKRA SE Management Board in Germany. The CRO's office is located in the US headquarters of DEKRA America in Atlanta, Georgia.

Donald O. Nicholson has extensive experience spanning many years in the testing, inspection and certification sector, especially in the field of industry. Before his move to DEKRA, he worked with great success for many years in sales and business development.
DEKRA has around 450 employees in North America and is represented there with services such as exhaust emission testing, technical inspection of trucks, expert appraisals, explosion protection and safety consulting. Just a few weeks ago, DEKRA acquired the world-leading California-based company Behavioral Science Technology Inc. (BST), which specialises in safety. With the acquisition, DEKRA strengthens its consulting services, particularly for the processing industry.
