HUNTERSVILLE, NC, Aug. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Founder and Director of Pure Facial Plastic Surgery & Medspa in Huntersville, North Carolina, Dr. Briggs Cook is excited to announce two scholarships valued at $500.00 (CAD/USD) available to students pursuing a career in childcare, health or life sciences, medicine, nursing, or psychology.

The Dr. Briggs Cook Scholarship is open to students in any year who have accepted an offer to an accredited United States or Canadian post-secondary institution which includes both undergraduate and graduate programs and full and part-time students.

Candidates are required to complete an online registration form and submit a 500-word essay outlining why they chose to pursue their area of expertise. A competitive application will explore how one plans to make a positive contribution to society while demonstrating a passion for his or her field of study.

Individuals are also required to attach an official letter of acceptance to their current program alongside all required documentation.

Applications will be accepted up until October 1st, 2018, and a winner will be selected November 1st, 2018. Applicants applying in the winter semester will have until February 1st, 2019 to submit all documents.
