Former Cardinal Health Manager Brings Expertise to Optimize Company's Role at the Forefront of Big Business
LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The MedMen, the first and leading consulting and management firm in the marijuana industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Duke Fu as President of the company after leaving behind five years of indispensable experience as a Manager in Nuclear Pharmaceutical division of Cardinal Health, ranked 19th on the Fortune 500 list. Dr. Fu's background, which also includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Masters in Business Administration, brings a unique perspective to the marijuana industry as a whole, proving the validity of the industry as a legitimate participant in big business and a potential billion-dollar trade with major players on Wall Street.
Dr. Fu's career began as an equity partner with BioTech Pharmacy, a Nevada-based centralized nuclear pharmacy company dispensing radioactive medicine to hospitals and clinics for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. In 2009, Biotech was purchased by Cardinal Health and Dr. Fu was asked to stay on as Manager in Nuclear Operations where Dr. Fu's direction and exemplary service include helping to establish of one of the most advanced and progressive nuclear pharmacies in the nation. Dr. Fu is also one of the few Board Certified Nuclear Pharmacists in the state of Nevada.
