DR Power Equipment Named Among Best Places to Work in Vermont for 2012

VERGENNES, Vt., Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Country Home Products – the home of DR^® Power Equipment, the Vermont company behind such property maintenance machines as the DR^® Trimmer/Mower – has been named a Best Place to Work in Vermont for the third year in a row, and the fourth year overall.  The company is honored to have been given this distinction once again, and recognizes that contributors to its success as an employer include not only its practices and policies, but also the neighborly spirit of its 250 employees.

The Best Places to Work in Vermont award program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the top employers in Vermont as measured by anonymous employee surveys.  Companies from across the state participate in a two-part process to determine the final list. The first part consists of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.  Country Home Products was named in the "Large Business Category" because it employs over 150 people in the state of Vermont.
