Drilling Underway At South Lida

VANCOUVER, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ - Western Pacific Resources Corp. (WRP - TSXV) is pleased to announce that drilling is underway at South Lida.

The 10-hole drill program consisting of approximately 3000 meters of drilling will test the strongest rock and soil anomalies in favorable limestone host rocks.

About South Lida

South Lida is located 35 kms SW of Goldfield, Nevada at the intersection of the Walker Lane and Goldfield Trend. South Lida mineralization is concentrated in carbonate and intrusive rocks and the strong gold and geochemical numbers are typical of large sediment-hosted deposits. Of the original 75 rock samples taken by Western Pacific, 45 contained better than 1 gram/ton gold with the highest grading 11.5 grams/ton.
