Sessions to Provide Key Information Surrounding the Successful Implementation of Health Insurance Marketplaces
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DST Health Solutions (DSTHS), a leading provider of technology solutions and services to health plans, integrated delivery systems, and health care providers, has announced that it will be hosting an educational webinar series in conjunction with the release of DST Marketplace Elements®, a new solution designed to support plans participating in the new Health Insurance Marketplaces (HIMs). The goal of the webinar is to assist clients in meeting the challenges associated with the implementation of HIMs, which will go live on October 1, 2013.
Premiering March 20, 2013, the four-session series, titled "Health Insurance Marketplaces—What You Need to Know, NOW!" will address topics such as mission critical capabilities, health plan staff model changes, the expanding role of care management, and the '3 Rs': reinsurance, risk corridors, and risk adjustment. Industry experts, Tom Scully, Senior Counsel at Alston & Bird, LLP and former CMS Administrator (2001-2003), and Dr. Jonathan Weiner, professor in the Dept. of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and director of CPHIT, will join DSTHS associates in presenting the sessions.
