Dtox Juice announces aggressive expansion plan for 10 new stores in Atlanta

ATLANTA, April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Spencer Forst Enterprises recently acquired a significant stake in Dtox Juice, LLC (www.dtoxjuice.com).  The partners of Spencer Forst Enterprises, Karen Spencer Welanetz and Jenny Forst, both former Vice Presidents of General Growth Properties, Inc., the second largest retail property REIT in the U.S., bring significant retail real estate, retail marketing and brand development experience to the new partnership. The group plans to expand Dtox Juice to include 10 new retail locations in Atlanta within the next 24 months.

Noting the growing trend of trading a daily coffee fix for a healthy green energy boost, Spencer Welanetz and Forst became intrigued after extensive research on the emerging $22 billion dollar juice industry.  Looking to capitalize on the growing juice movement, and after observing juice operators around the country, they established that Dtox Juice had strong potential for a scalable retail brand. 

Founder Shannon Sliger opened the first Dtox Juice retail location in late 2012 and the second in 2014 in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.  Sliger finds herself challenged to keep up with demand.  "Our biggest operational hurdle is keeping the stores filled. We sell it as fast as we make it," said Sliger.
