SALISBURY, Md., Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Due to requests from the community, Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake's Lower Shore Career Development Center will host an "expungement" fair at its Career Center in Salisbury on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The address for the event is 700 S. Salisbury Blvd., Salisbury, MD 21801.
In January, for the first time, Goodwill's Lower Shore Center partnered with community lawyers who provided one-on-one expungement services. The two expungement fairs were attended by approximately 58 individuals with the assistance of ten attorneys.
As part of its mission of providing job training and placement services, Goodwill is hosting the Expungement Fair to help local residents learn the expungement process and determine if they are eligible. Attorneys will be available to provide assistance.
