Duggal Visual Solutions' Innovation Lab Takes Top Honors at GlobalShop 2016

Duggal, known for expertise and technical advancement in digital print, captured the retail industries attention with a ground breaking installation of its full range of services including interactive media, custom display and LED Lightboxes. Duggal partnered with a cohort of brilliant artists, a nod to its 52-year legacy in the art and photography industry.  Mike Duggal, CEO of Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc. states, "(Artists) are the practitioners most able to utilize Duggal's capabilities and demonstrate that technological capacities are limited only by the parameters of the artistic imagination."

The 13 globally recognized and up-and-coming artists utilized Duggal products, solutions and services, all proven for the retail environment, surprising retail industry professionals, with a breathtaking fusion of art and design. With immediate press attention, Duggal became a show attraction, and likely the most visited booth at GlobalShop 2016.

Among the products and services displayed were Duggal LED lightboxes, vibrantly displaying gallery worthy imagery, some suspended from the ceiling of the convention hall, adding stunning dimension and an element of surprise to the overall booth design.

Duggal transparent media mesh technology was a showstopper. The technology consists of modular lattice of 2.7 mm pixel-based display, and up to 6,000 units of illumination. Full window motion graphics can display externally, with no internal wash. Incorporated breaks in content allow up to 80% perceived transparency.

Also of special note were Duggal's Pixel Cubes, high-density, modular, video-driven displays. With a pixel-pitch of 2.2 mm, they can be tiled to create bright, dynamic showcases.

Other featured solutions included: touch screen tables and mirrors, laser optics, merchandising fixtures and pedestals with changeable shrouds, custom framing and cutting edge dimensional, HD, 3D and lenticular print.

By its extraordinary and dramatic display, Duggal took home the show's top awards and honors: Best of Competition and Best in Booth Design. As one judge stated, "We were impressed with the variety of product and design, and the booth's bold visual statement."
