Rigrodsky & Long, P.A. announces that it is investigating potential legal claims against the board of directors of Dyax Corp. ("Dyax" or the "Company") (NASDAQ GM: DYAX) regarding possible breaches of fiduciary duties and other violations of law related to the Company's entry into an agreement to be acquired by Shire plc ("Shire"), in a transaction valued at approximately $5.9 billion.

Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of Dyax will receive $37.30 in cash for each share of Dyax common stock. In addition, Dyax shareholders may receive additional value through a non-tradable contingent value right (CVR) that will pay $4.00 in cash per Dyax share upon approval of DX-2930 in HAE.
The investigation concerns whether Dyax's board of directors failed to adequately shop the Company and obtain the best possible value for Dyax's shareholders before entering into an agreement with Shire.
If you own the common stock of Dyax and purchased your shares before November 2, 2015, if you have information or would like to learn more about these claims, or if you wish to discuss these matters or have any questions concerning this announcement or your rights or interests with respect to these matters, please contact Seth D.
