Great opportunity for live feed, colorful photos and interviews with wonderful visuals of the Easter Bunny and volunteers preparing hundreds of colorful Easter Baskets.

The kitchen will be going almost 24-7 with Fred Jordan Missions staff and volunteers cooking a delicious Easter dinner for hundreds of hungry, homeless guests - - Barbecued Chicken with all the trimmings, Rice, Vegetables, Dinner Rolls, and all topped off with a homemade fruit cobbler.  When our homeless guests leave, Volunteers will distribute warm blankets, new socks, and food bags with fresh produce, and EASTER BASKETS for all the CHILDREN.

Since 1944, the Fred Jordan Missions has fed millions of our City's most vulnerable citizens, i.e. the working poor, abandoned and abused mothers and children, and the chronically homeless who live on the streets. The Mission is a non-profit, faith-based, educational and relief organization.

Los Angeles is the Homeless Capital in the nation, and has the most chronically homeless people in the nation. Homelessness surged by 11% for the fourth consecutive year, bringing more tents and shantytown to our streets. Last year saw a 55% increase in homeless women, and 1 in 3 homeless people in L.A. are now women.
