Easter Seals New York Races to Saratoga and 'Wins for Kids!'

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Saturday, August 18^th Easter Seals New York hosted its 3^rd Annual 'Wins for Kids' at the Saratoga Race Track. Nearly 200 Easter Seals New York sponsors, supporters and horse racing enthusiasts attended this fun-filled day while raising more than $37,000 in funds to benefit Camp Colonie, a fully integrated and accessible summer camp that serves more than 68 children in the Capital District. The camp provides a unique environment for children with disabilities, including the "School Without Walls" program, which is the only State Department of Education certified school of its kind in New York.

Attendees enjoyed an exciting afternoon by the track, full of horse racing, cocktails, gourmet food stations, and an auction featuring fantastic items like the 'Kentucky Derby Package,' giving everyone the opportunity to bid.  Wilson Elser presented 'The Wilson Elser Community Achievement Award' to HANYS Solutions, in honor of the wonderful generosity and support they have given to Camp Colonie and Easter Seals New York.
