Eaton Vance Expands Global Equity Team
Upcoming Appointments of Christopher M. Dyer, CFA, as Director, Global Equity and Aidan M. Farrell as Global Small Cap Portfolio Manager
BOSTON, May 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Management (International) Ltd. (EVMI), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: EV), today announced the upcoming appointment of Christopher M. Dyer, CFA, as Director of Global Equity and Aidan M. Farrell as Global Small-Cap Portfolio Manager. Both Mr. Dyer and Mr. Farrell will be based in London.
Mr. Dyer will be responsible for building and leading a global equity investment team, and managing global and international equity portfolios. Mr. Farrell will be responsible for managing global and international small-cap equity portfolios, leading a team of analysts, and working alongside the Director of Global Equity to expand the global equity business. Both will be affiliated with Eaton Vance's equity group and work closely with Edward J. Perkin, CFA, Chief Equity Investment Officer. These appointments are effective June 15.

Prior to his upcoming appointment to Eaton Vance, Mr. Dyer has been serving as Managing Director and Head of European Equity for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). During his nearly 14-year tenure at GSAM, he served as lead portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs Europe Equity Partners Portfolio and Goldman Sachs Strategic European Equity Strategy and co-lead portfolio manager for Goldman Sachs Global Responsible Equity Fund. Mr. Dyer holds a BS from Georgetown University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to his upcoming appointment to Eaton Vance, Mr. Farrell has been serving as Managing Director for GSAM and was lead portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs International Small Cap Equity Fund and the Goldman Sachs European Small & Mid Cap Equity Strategy. Prior to June 2008, he served as the Director of European Equities for Insight Investment (formerly the asset management arm of Halifax Bank of Scotland) and was the lead portfolio manager for the European Small Cap Equity Strategy, as well as the portfolio manager for European Large / Mid Cap and UK Large Cap strategies. Mr. Farrell holds a BA in Economics from the University College Dublin and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
