HOUSTON, May 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- eCardio Diagnostics (www.ecardio.com) announced today that President and Chief Executive Officer, Larry Lawson, has been selected as a Charter Member of the President's Council for Houston Community College Coleman College for Health Sciences.

Having just selected the Charter Members last month, Dr. Betty Young, President of HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences, is looking forward to the work that will be done through the President's Council to further their vision as the preeminent health sciences community college in the nation.

"I am fortunate to be in this community and to have the opportunity to work with Larry and his colleagues who have agreed to serve," noted Young. "Their work together will help to move HCC Coleman College for Health Sciences forward."

As a member of the President's Council for HCC Coleman College, Lawson will serve as an advocate for the college within the community and the health sciences industry. There are 12 members of the council representing some of Houston's most-respected health care and health sciences organizations.

The President's Council will officially begin service on May 5, 2011, when their first meeting is held.
