VISTA, Calif., Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Building Products, Inc., (OTCQB: ECOB) announced today that the Company has joined forces with World Resources Solutions Center (WRSC), a New Jersey based building solutions organization aligned with the vision of ECOB. The partnership recently established between ECOB and WRSC has effectively bonded like-minded companies and leadership, aimed at achieving the same goals. ECOB CEO Steve Conboy and WRSC President and Managing Principal Greg Shiffner have developed strategic plans in place to rebuild the Jersey Shore using the best in defensive building products starting with Eco Red Shield™ protected lumber. http://youtu.be/cvcF1jJCW88.
In addition to the utilization of ECOB's line of defensive building products, WRSC has embraced ECOB's Institute of Defensive Building Practices (IDBP) www.idbp.org online training platform in an effort to provide focused training for their team of architects, engineers and builders. This move by WRSC speaks highly of the Company's position in regards to social accountability, and their dedication to rebuilding defensively. The training process as outlined by IDBP will provide a solid foundation for their organization helping to ensure that every house they rebuild for WRSC embraces the most defensive products and methods available in today's supply chain. Now that Eco Red Shield protected lumber is available on the shelf at The Home Depot in and around this rebuild area, it only makes it easier for WRSC and other like-minded operations to utilize the most technically advanced building materials.
WRSC was developed to provide both guidance and information along with solutions and services to best serve the homeowner on their journey to quick, efficient, and cost-effective home rebuilding by using the newest, safest, and green sustainable technologies available to today's housing industry. WRSC first set out on their mission by answering the call for storm weary homeowners and businesses in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. WRSC is bringing welcomed and long-awaited relief to the widespread emotional stress, confusion and trepidation to which many homeowners and businesses fell victim in the aftermath of Super storm Sandy last fall. "Even today, hundreds of shore property owners and businesses are still searching for answers and guidance in everything from building codes and insurance claims, to which builders, architects, designers and financing terms will best suit their individual needs," stated Greg Shiffner, the President and Managing Principal of WRSC. "Our Center provides, literally, a 'one-stop-shop' to answer any questions or concerns about all facets of the rebuilding process in a direct and easily understood manner," added Shiffner.
World Resource Solutions World Center said today that "finally there is someone of like mind that can supply the products we have been waiting for in this rebuild with Eco Red Shield protected lumber and ECOB's newest facility that is online in New Jersey this week. ECOB's timing is perfect as the houses in this rebuild are now ready to be rebuilt." Look for the full editorial on WRSC and ECOB in September's issue of NJ Builder Architect later this month.
In addition to partnering with WRSC, Eco is beginning to attract quite the following of great local builders like LGC Construction and Property Management LLP that are going vertical on the Jersey Shore. LGC which initially introduced WRSC to ECOB has also recently committed to using only Eco Red Shield protected lumber on all their rebuilds. Frank Mullin, President of LGC said today that "we have decided to build all of our houses going forward using Eco Defensive Building Practices. We have started to and will continue to use Eco Red Shield protected lumber and Eco Disaster Break™ on all of our rebuild and renovation projects that have been affected by super storm Sandy." "As the President & CEO of Eco Building Products, I knew if we showed up in and around this rebuild with the most defensive products, we would find groups like World Resources Solutions Center and LGC because everyone in this rebuild wants to do it right. Up until now, those engaged in the rebuild have continued to use the same old products that offer no defense against things like mold and fire," stated Steve Conboy, President & CEO, Eco Building Products, Inc.
