Egyptian Government Announces Significant Progress With Landmark Egypt Economic Development Conference
Confirmed new high-profile speakers, including Unilever CEO Paul Polman, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim and Citigroup Vice Chairman of Corporate and Investment Banking Peter Orszag

Prime Minister of Egypt Ibrahim Mahlab announced significant progress with preparations for the landmark Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), which will be hosted by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on 13-15 March in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Prime Minister Mahlab announced the additions of Unilever CEO Paul Polman, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim, and Citigroup Vice Chairman of Corporate and Investment Banking Peter Orszag, among others, to an already impressive speaker list for the EEDC, which includes top leaders from Egypt and beyond.

The steering committee supporting the Egypt Economic Development Conference includes Prime Minister Mahlab; the country's Minister of Finance, Hany Kadry, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Naglaa El Ahwany, and Minister of Trade and Industry, Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour; the Saudi Arabian Minister of Finance, Dr. Ibrahim Al Assaf; and the UAE Minister of State, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber.
