EILEEN FISHER, Inc. All Store Event Celebrates Women
NEW YORK, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EILEEN FISHER will host its annual national retail event on Saturday, March 22nd inviting retail and online shoppers to receive $25 off all purchases with 10% of the event day's proceeds benefiting the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP). A non-partisan leadership incubator at Rutgers University's Eagleton Institute of Politics, CAWP helps to promote greater knowledge and understanding about women's participation in politics and government. CAWP addresses women's underrepresentation in political leadership through a variety of effective education and outreach programs from student workshops to non-partisan campaign training. Proceeds from the event will benefit two important programs. Ready to Run™ trains women to run for office, work on campaigns and get involved in public life. NEW Leadership™ offers summer residential institutes for college women who want to become leaders in the public sector." Both programs serve as models for partners around the country who offer their own state-based versions, all of which will benefit from the EILEEN FISHER national retail event.
"The Center for American Women and Politics is honored and grateful for the opportunity to partner with EILEEN FISHER, a company that has a long history of supporting women and girls initiatives," says Debbie Walsh, Director.
