The Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) is a nonprofit sports organization that promotes and serves the South Florida community. The organization, comprised of more than 300 members, aims to support its annual championship sporting events and enhance the South Florida economy, as well as inspire and engage the community through sports.
The committee offers various programs and events, including the Big Buddy Program, Kicks 4 Kids, the Junior Orange Bowl, and many more. Additionally, it oversees legacy projects that focus on renovating local parks to benefit underprivileged children, many of whom participate in various athletic leagues, after school programs and summer camps.
"I'm excited to join the Orange Bowl Committee," said Dominguez. "I love sports, so this is an ideal way to combine that passion with my dedication for giving back to the community."
Dominguez is an entrepreneur and Miami native who recently co-founded Element Pointe Advisors, a multi-family office and investment management firm.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dominguez is actively involved in other community initiatives. He's a member of the City Year Miami Board, the St. Philip's Foundation Board and the Ransom Everglades Alumni Board.
"It's a dream come true to have the opportunity to be a part of an organization that provided such great memories for me as a child," said Dominguez. "It feels like I've come full circle."
