Elster Solutions Names Mike Caranfa to Senior Leadership Position Sales Operations Team created to enhance customer engagement
RALEIGH, N.C., July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Elster Solutions, the North American business unit of Elster Electricity, announced today that it is promoting Mike Caranfa to the role of Vice President Sales Operations and General Manager of the US East and West Sales Regions. In his new role, Caranfa will oversee the account management program to provide greater customer focus and work closely with manufacturing and program delivery to improve the overall customer experience. This change further highlights the importance of Elster's relationship with its customers and provides a stronger environment of continuous improvement that Elster's customers deserve.

Before joining Elster in 2007, Caranfa spent 16 years in the telecommunications, technology and utility industries where he served in various leadership positions including managing business development teams and high performance sales organizations. He is a retired Army Infantry officer with 22 years of combined service in the Army and Army National Guard. He earned his MBA from Penn State University and serves as a commissioner for the City of Plano, Texas.
