eLynx Technologies Taps Akamai for SaaS Optimization

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Akamai^® Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM), the leading cloud platform for helping enterprises provide secure, high-performing user experiences on any device, anywhere, announced today that eLynx Technologies, a leading provider of web-based monitoring, exception based alarming, and field automation services for the oil and gas industry is using Akamai Terra Enterprise Solutions to provide performance optimization for the company's SCADALynx^™ technology.

Delivered to customers as a SaaS offering, SCADALynx is designed to offer intelligent automation for organizations in the oil and gas production industry. According to eLynx, SCADALynx, provides the ability to monitor – in real time – various aspects of the drilling and production process including flow computers, compressors, pipelines, tanks and artificial lift devices, to name only a few.
