Emerging Leaders Awards Call for Nominations Open
WASHINGTON, March 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) is pleased to announce that the call for nominations for the 2015 Emerging Leader Awards is now open. Nominations are due by Monday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m.
The Emerging Leaders Awards honors six extraordinary young women who have excelled in the communications industry. All nominees for this award must be between the ages of 23-30 years old and reside in the Washington metropolitan area. Six finalists will be announced – three will be named honorees at the awards ceremony and cocktail reception. Finalists and honorees are chosen by an esteemed group of judges based on their contributions to the communications industry thus far, and their potential to contribute for many years to come.
The 2015 Emerging Leaders Awards ceremony and cocktail reception will take place on June 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Ketchum (1615 L Street, NW, Washington, DC).
This year's keynote speaker is American Red Cross Vice President of Public Relations, Laura Howe. An expert in government relations and disaster response communications, Howe is prepared to inspire women to find their super power.
