LAFAYETTE, Ind., Jan. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Emerging Threats, a world-leading provider of open source and commercial threat and malware intelligence, has named Michael Cadle as vice president of sales. Cadle will be responsible for and lead the worldwide sales team for Emerging Threats. Cadle will be based in the Washington, DC area, and will report to Kenneth Gramley, CEO in the Lafayette, IN corporate office.

Cadle will be responsible for delivering Emerging Threats' product lines to enterprises, government agencies, financial institutions, SMBs, higher education, and service providers worldwide. In addition, he will also be responsible for overseeing Emerging Threats' resellers and sales partners. With an increase in malicious threats throughout the globe, the demand for malware and threat intelligence solutions has never been greater. Emerging Threats had a record revenue year in 2012 by with its ETPro™ Ruleset flagship product and is poised for future growth with its IQRisk™ Suite of threat intelligence products.

He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point.
