Emily Post Signs Licensing Agreement with PhotoBook Press for Custom Wedding Photo Books
NEW YORK, Oct. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Emily Post Institute, Inc. today announced the signing of a licensing agreement with PhotoBook Press , a maker of fine custom photo books based in Minneapolis, MN, for the design, manufacture, and distribution of custom wedding photo books under the newly created brand Emily Post PhotoBooks, beginning immediately.
"We're thrilled to bring together the high quality of PhotoBook Press with the distinct taste and classic elegance of the Emily Post brand to help couples commemorate their wedding with a photo book that will last forever," said Margaret Telfer, President of PhotoBook Press.
There are two styles of Emily Post Wedding PhotoBooks: Distinctive and Legendary. The Distinctive book is 9 x 12 inches with 60 pages; the Legendary book is 10 x 10 inches with 72 pages. Each Emily Post PhotoBook has a signature sewn binding—which means the books open flat and will never come apart. PhotoBook Press is the only photo book binder in the U.S. that offers sewn signature binding.
Each PhotoBook is printed on 120-pound archival fine art paper and has different covers, fonts and end papers from which to choose. Prices range from $175 to $225 per book. Special pricing is available for professional photographers and for couples who purchase multiple albums.
"Commemorating the wedding with a photo book is the final and most important wedding step," says Anna Post, an Emily Post Institute author. "Many couples don't know where to start, but the design resources available at photobookpress.com make the process creative and easy." Graphic designers are on staff to lay out photo books for those not looking for a DIY experience.
"What drew us to PhotoBook Press was the quality of the product," added Post, who chose the end papers and covers for each collection. "I went head over heels for the materials—especially the cloud paper. No other photo book maker comes close."
Many couples put off the job of creating a wedding book, for months or even years. Post advises couples to visit photobookpress.com/emilypost to see how easy it is to get started. "When you hold that book, it's as if you're reliving that day. And the companion books—which parents will flip for—make great holiday gifts!"
