Emplify Emerges from Stealth Mode to Transform Employee Engagement Market
Announces $3 Million Series A Funding Round Led by Allos Ventures and Cultivation Capital
FISHERS, Ind., July 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Emplify, a mobile-first Software-as-a-Service platform for employee engagement created by Bluebridge, today emerged from stealth mode with a $3 million Series A investment led by Allos Ventures and Cultivation Capital, with participation from Bob Davoli, Charmides Capital and returning investors Bill Godfrey, Tim Kopp and Mark Hill. Emplify was created by Bluebridge, a seasoned leader in the mobile app engagement market, to help leaders measure and drive employee engagement across their organizations.
Emplify provides companies a better way to engage with their employees through an internal employee app that acts as a central portal of information and engagement, while reflecting the organization's brand. Following its February 2016 acquisition of Cadence Consulting, a firm focused on employee engagement and corporate culture, Bluebridge leveraged its own mobile app engagement product, as well as its mobile engagement expertise to introduce the new product suite.
"In today's modern workplace, 7 out of every 10 employees are disengaged in their roles, leading to high turnover, erosion of profit and a diminished employer brand and reputation," said Santiago Jaramillo, CEO and founder of Emplify, powered by Bluebridge. "With Emplify, we're taking Bluebridge's proficiency in growing audience engagement through mobile apps and applying it directly to the modern workforce. Emplify helps business leaders improve their company culture by analyzing current states of engagement and reacting to empower their most important asset—their people."
During the pre-launch phase earlier this year, Emplify quickly surpassed 25 paying customers, including Molly Maid, Which Wich, The NFL Trust, and MedXcel. The brand emerges as a frontrunner in the employee engagement industry backed by a secure platform that has already supported over 15 million mobile app sessions and more than 6 million push notifications.
"We've always been passionate about engaging employees through open communication, but cutting through the clutter of email and other systems is often cumbersome, making it difficult for employees to fully engage," said Bryan Brenner, CEO of FirstPerson, one of Emplify's initial customers. "Using the Emplify product makes that possible, and it's working, evidenced by our 86% average push message open rate. Now, our employees can stay engaged whenever and wherever they are on the device they always have with them."
Emplify brings data-driven insights to company culture leaders by measuring and driving employee engagement. The platform creates a central portal for engagement by giving employees access to interactive staff directories and portals to key information like health benefits. Customers will have instant access to quick polling and pulse survey features to discover employee feedback and sentiment, as well as segmented push notification messaging to target workplace communication to unique groups or individuals.
In coming weeks, Emplify will launch its App Engagement Scoring feature, designed to leverage real-time analytics that give business leaders instant feedback on what is working or not working in their mobile employee engagement efforts.
With its new funding, Bluebridge will continue building out the Emplify brand, investing in product, sales and marketing expansion, enabling customer success and expanding its proprietary research in employee engagement. For more information, or to get started with Emplify, visit www.emplify.com.
