Energetiq Technology Implements Clean Manufacturing

WOBURN, Mass., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Energetiq Technology, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of ultrahigh-brightness light sources for advanced technology applications, today announced that it has built a clean manufacturing facility at its Massachusetts location. The 800 sq. ft. clean room will provide Class 1000 assembly capability that will be used for optics assembly and manufacturing for Energetiq's Laser-Driven Light Source (LDLS™) products.

"Our new clean manufacturing space will give us the capability to assemble and test our optics in a particulate-free environment, leading to significantly higher performing light source products with extended lifetimes," said Claire Brown, Director of Operations. "Not only will our new clean room allow us to improve efficiency and increase volume production on our current LDLS light source products, it will also enable us to take on additional projects that require contamination-free production processes.  This will be vital to Energetiq as we continue to grow in the life sciences industry where high reliability and stable performance are critical."

Energetiq's LDLS™ Laser-Driven Light Sources are highly reliable sources of broadband DUV, visible, and NIR light for analytical applications requiring ultra-long lamp life. With the LDLS proprietary electrodeless bulb technology, researchers and engineers who need high power, high brightness UV light can use a single UV-VIS source, giving them a cost-effective alternative to purchasing and operating multiple lamps or lasers.
